Micah was born and raised in Iowa where he graduated as Valedictorian of his high school class before attending the University of Iowa on a Presidential Scholarship. At Iowa, Micah was active in intramural sports, College Republicans, CRU, and the University of Iowa Student Government where he was elected President in addition to attending every Iowa Hawkeye athletic event possible.

Upon graduation, Micah was hired as a field director for Governor Terry Branstad for the 1994 re-election. Following the conclusion of the 1994 campaign cycle, Micah was hired to work for Phil Gramm for President in the 1996 Iowa Presidential caucuses.

After going to business school, Micah worked for Procter and Gamble, A.H. Belo and Luminant Worldwide prior to pursuing entrepreneurial ventures. Most recently as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Payment Solutions in Dallas, TX. Liberty Payments is a boutique fintech advisory firm specializing in payments, fraud, risk and technology.

Prior to Liberty Payment Solutions, Micah was Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer of Paperless Transaction Corporation. Paperless was founded in 2001 when banking rules changed to allow paper checks to be processed electronically. Micah led the company for 23 years into a national payment processing company with over 15,000 clients across the United States.

Micah is the proud father of four children; Jacob, Elizabeth, Benjamin, and David. He is a passionate golfer, fly fisherman, outdoorsman and loves all sports most notably Iowa Hawkeye football. Micah was the founder of Providence Presbyterian Church (PCA).  Micah and his family reside in Dallas, Texas.
